Fresh-faced actress Emma Watson and seasoned designer Alberta Ferretti have teamed up to create Pure Threads, an eco fashion collection that launched last week. From safety boots to designer heels, the availability of eco friendly fashion labels is steadily growing as more designers and retailers realise the importance of using natural fabrics and sustainably sourced materials.

The 20-year-old actress started off with a starring role in the Harry Potter movies, and has since made a name for herself in the world of fashion. Last year, she worked with eco fashion brand People Tree to create a spring clothing line; she is also the face of Lancôme.
